Memorial Weekend

Clint and I got to go home to Utah for Memorial Day weekend. It was so nice. The drive there took us 16 hours because of a stupid accident, but we made it. We got there early Saturday morning. My parents had cinnamon rolls there waiting for us. That night we went over to Clint's sister and brother-in-laws house. It was great! We had such a good dinner, played guitar hero with vocals, and Clint got to see Tungsten for the first time. Which that little boy just keeps getting cuter and cuter. Then Sunday we got to go to my cousin Tyler's homecoming, I am so happy he is home!! It was so good to see him. We just hungout and talked, and Clint played Botchy Ball with my cousins. I love seeing all of my cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents. Then that evening we went over to Clint's parents house for dinner and visiting for the night. Monday was great, in the morning we went to the Bluffdale cemetary where the American Legion came and did a wonderful program. Clint had the opportunity to sit with the Veterans, he was the only younger guy sitting there, such an honor. Then Clint and I took Grace and Melanie to get a Jamba Juice, so good! After, we went bac to Clint's house for a BBQ, all of his family was there and my parents came over. It was so much fun! Definitely a genuine BBQ, so much good food! I made sunflower cupcakes. It was an easy drive home, which was nice.
Clint got promoted to Corporal on Wednesday! It is so exciting, he has done such a great job, and put in so much hard work! He got his blood stripes and his new chevrons, so he is excited to get those put on his uniform. I am super proud of him!! And we just got a new niece! Clint's sister just had their fourth baby, her name is Ellee Renee Millward, and she is soooo cute!! It's been a pretty good week so far, and we get to go to the Newport Temple tonight.

Utah/Shooting

It has been quite a while since I have updated this, but never fear, here is the update. I was in Utah for the first two weeks of May. It was sad to leave Clint, but it was so nice to see everyone, and I had some fun times. My mom, Ellen, Grace, and myself went shopping in Park City for the day, then watched Biggest Loser. We also went to Gardner Village one evening, ate at Archibalds, and definitely visited Sweet Aftons fude and candy shop. We did some fun crafts from Wood Connection while I was there. Clint and my sister was in the Ms. Bluffdale pageant, and she won 2nd attendant. Yay for her! My dad, mom, Dean, Janine, and Meagan, and I went four wheeling. Which was a great time! We had a nice little lunch on the mountain. I did so much hair while I was in Utah, it was great to see everyone. And I changed my hair to brown! I got to hangout with Kerstin and her family a couple of times, which was great. And I went to lunch with Jessie, Michelle, and Stephanie. It was a fun 2 weeks. But it was also so nice to come home to my wonderful husband!
I came home friday night, and on the way home from the airport we had dinner at tgif's. Yummy! Then on Saturday we got up and went shooting at a range on base. It was way fun! We had a little competition with each other, and both shot really well. It has been a great month so far. I am very hapy to be home, and able to hangout with m husband all day everyday. Too bad he has to start going to work like a normal person on monday. I'm so spoiled. :)

Our Apartment

So I finally took pictures of our apartment. It is quaint, but it is our first place together so it will always be wonderful.
Clint has had a couple days off last week, and will have a couple off this week. It has been so nice hanging out with each other everyday. On Saturday we hungout with his brother and his brother's fiance. We had dinner, went to the hot tub, then got frozen yogurt. The best invention is self serve frozen yogurt!
It is so nice to have my husband as my best friend. We love spending time together, and haven't gotten sick of each other yet.

Easter/Birthday Weekend

This was such a great week! My parents came out to spend Easter weekend, and my birthday with us. Clint had Friday and Monday off, and pretty much the rest of the week this week, so that has been fun. My parents got here on Saturday, while the men went to the priesthood session, my mom and I made a cute spring craft, way fun! Then Easter/conference morning we had sausage egg casserole for breakfast and got our Easter baskets. It was so much fun to put together my first Easter. We did our Easter baskets, colored eggs, and had a good Easter dinner and yummy dirt cake for my birthday. Then on Monday we went shopping and lazed about. In the evening we celebrated my birthday, so fun! The next morning, (my actual birthday) the four of us played a game of spades, my parents left for home, and Clint left for work. It was so wonderful having my parents here for those three days.
Later that evening Clint took me to dinner at Olive Garden, which was so delicious! Then on Wednesday he took me to see The Bounty Hunter to continue with my birthday week. Today he had the day off work so we went and spent a couple hours at the beach, it was so sunny and warm. Clint fell asleep, and has a very red stomach now. We got a cooler and beach towels from my parents for Easter so we got to use those today. It was such a wonderful Easter and Birthday, and made even better by my loving husband. He is so thoughtful and great, marriage is simply the best!!

Graduation!

It has been a while since an update, but I will definitely get better. Clint has been in a Machine Gun Leaders Course since February 1st, and he graduated today! It was wonderful! They had a great guest speaker, Captain R.R. Burton, USMC. He did such a great job. Clint graduated with the highest percentile in his class, 99.8. He was the Honor Grad of the course! I am so proud! Then after it was all over, before we left, he got to shake hands with one of the most awesome Marine's, Sergeant Major Kasal, it was so cool!
The weather here in San Clemente has gotten so nice and pretty. I'm just keeping myself busy, trying to re-learn the guitar, playing the piano, laundry, and cleaning, things like that. We are having a lot of fun. But now that spring has come, we really miss Utah! Clint broke his ankle about a week and a half ago, but he is gradually getting better, and refuses to take it easy.

California

So we are all nice and moved in to our apartment. It is so nice and warm here, its always above 68 in our apartment. I love being married. Clint is such an amazing husband! He is even better than when we were dating, which I didn't think was possible. He is starting Machine Gun Leaders course on monday for two months. He is really excited. I think he will have a lot of fun. I still don't know anyone, but it's alright because me and Clint get to hangout all the time.

We are married! It was such a fun, wonderful day! Our honeymoon at Bear Lake was great! Now we are home for today, then we leave for California tomorrow morning. Very excited, but I am definitely going to miss my mom and dad very much. We have a cute apartment waiting for us. It's the perfect size for the both of us.
